Once your order is processed, freight transit times typically range from 1 to 2 weeks, depending on your location in the US. Backordered products take longer because these items are waiting to come back in stock, normally within 30 - 60 days.
We deliver curbside using trusted carriers who get as close as possible to your building. Our delivery partners typically use pickup trucks, cargo vans with flatbed trailers, or 26-foot straight trucks.
Most carriers can unload the entire pallet at once, though some may choose to unpack and manually restack the contents for easier handling.
If you are handy, you can assemble a barrel or cabin sauna with two people in roughly 1–2 days. All hardware and detailed instructions are included. You will need basic tools (cordless drill, level, rubber mallet, tape measure).

What they do: Unpack, inventory, and fully build the sauna structure on your prepared base.
What they don't do: They do not pour concrete foundations or perform the electrical hookup (you need a licensed electrician for the final wire-in).

Not necessarily concrete, but you do need a stable, level base. A gravel pad, pavers, decking, or a concrete slab all work well. The most important factor is that the wood does not touch the bare grass/soil to prevent moisture wicking.

Thermowood turns a distinguished silver-grey over time if left untreated (which is perfectly safe). If you wish to maintain the rich brown color, we recommend oiling the exterior once a year with a UV-protective oil.
